Carving Candles

May 20, 2007 |

Tracy Birch shows us how she carves candles in this short documentary on youtube. She does amazingly intricate designs by cutting, twisting and carving multiple layers of candle colors and later glazes it for a beautiful shine. She said she trained intensely for three months but she does it so gracefully she makes it seem effortless. Check it out.

This has to be the coolest candle making technique. In the video, Tracy reiterated her training, but I still think she is a very creative person. Amazing how quick her candles are carved.
