Experiment by Combining Candle Scents

Chocolate Cake by Teodora VlaicuRecently I bought a few candle fragrance oils that are being discontinued. They were basically surprise bags, so you never know what you’re going to get.

Anyway, I wasn’t crazy about “Buddy’s Bake Shop” but I thought it might smell good with a bit of hazelnut and chocolate. It’s divine!

Hazelnut chocolate cake just doesn’t sound exotic enough, so I’m working on a name. I’m sure it’s been done before, but it’s still fun combining candle scents.

Other Candle Fragrance Combinations

I also had some iced tea candle fragrance oil and added lemon to that. Another combination was with rice flower and jasmine. I’m pleased with it because it smells a bit like my favorite floral perfume Anaïs Anaïs.

Finally, I mixed lavender, pine and citrus together for a floral woods type of smell. There’s still a ton of peach fragrance oil here, but I’m not feeling it.  Does anyone have any scent combo ideas?

Re: Candle name for Hazel Nut chocolate cake…how about “Better Than Sex Cake candle” since that is pretty popular and might be fun!
