Fruit Salad Candle

March 13, 2008 |

Melon KitWe’re all getting a little antsy here and looking forward to spring but I found a project to brighten things up a little.

This is such a colorful fruit salad candle and you can get everything you need in a kit at CandlesAndSupplies.com. It comes with the melon halves, wicks, gel, scent, wax fruit salad and instructions.

If you wanted to sell the candle, you could double your money and I think it would go over well. You could also make your own molds to create the fruit and save even more.

I’m getting a new camera so will be able to share pics of some of my creations again with you soon. I also have a couple new candle making books I’m looking forward to reviewing and sharing with you.

It would be neat to use a coconut as a candle dish for a fruit salad candle.

Carrie, great idea! I have seen coconuts used as candle holders but not filled with fruit.
