Marc Atiyolil, a columnist at The Star came up with this chic and thrifty candle holder craft using an old chrome bathroom light fixture.

The sockets make good tea light holders, but you could also pop roses into them and surround them with tea lights.

Marc also suggests pine cones in between the candles, although the possibilities are endless! For example, multi-colored metallic Xmas balls,  candy canes or ceramic Santas would make a nice holiday touch.
