Make a Snow Lantern

March 5, 2008 |

We still have a ton of snow here and March break is coming up so this snow lantern project will be fun for our family. It snowed so much today that all the school buses were canceled but the afternoon turned warm so it was a great day to play in the snow. I mostly stomped on it because I was running around looking for skates.

Anyway, here’s a great video I found at Metacalfe on How to Make a Snow Lantern. It’s so pretty and would look gorgeous in the dark. It’s like a miniature igloo made out of snowballs and the candle light shines through the holes. I’m looking forward to making one tomorrow because now everyone is asleep.
