Making Shell Candles

September 19, 2007 |

Shell CandlesI’m trying to stretch summer out here as long as possible so sharing a fun seashell candle project. You will need some wax (duh!), wicks, metal wick holders, pieces of colored candles, double boiler with a lip and some shells. My double boiler with a lip was made by pulling hard with a wrench on a coffee can until it had a lip and placing it into a bigger pot, but spring for a proper pot if you want. For full instructions, see The Billy Lids Shell Candles craft page.
