Upper West Side Mom shared her lovely and inventive Hanukkah menorah tutorial on her blog.

I don’t know much about the holiday, but I’ve always admired menorahs with all their glowing candles.

This menorah is made with a wood block, glitter, glue and nuts! See Sparkly Hanukkah Menorahs to learn how to make one.

Interesting read. I only know a little bit, which is that the 8 candles are for the 8 days of Hanukkah (spelling?) but I like the idea of making the centerpiece for the ceremonies.

I always wondered why non-Jews don’t know about Chanukah. It’s a holiday that Jesus definitely celebrated.

I’m learning more about it now Marny. Thanks for stopping by!
